I skipped Stream of Consciousness Sunday last week because a) I forgot about it until it was about 2 minutes until The Walking Dead started and nothing was going to stop me from watching that, and 2) well, there’s no excuse two. I just plain ran out of time. But since I’m not harassing myself about blogging allthetime I let it slide and moved on with my life. Blogging like this is much better for my psyche.
Anyhoo, I did take the time to put together a simple SOC Sunday header image that I can use each week that i love. I used PicMonkey (of course) and a picture I took of an old typewriter at a museum in Montreal. Because typing… you know? You like?
In other news, I finished reading Ryder Carroll’s The Bullet Journal Method which turned out to be pretty good. I’ve got a book review cooking in my brain that I’ll write about soon. In the meantime I’m using a bunch of tips and reminders of his method of planning and journaling that I’m finding very useful.
This has been my 5 minute Stream of Consciousness Sunday post. It’s five minutes of your time and a brain dump. Want to try it? Here are the rules…
- Set a timer and write for 5 minutes.
- Write an intro to the post if you want but don’t edit the post. This is writing in the raw.
- Publish it somewhere. Anywhere. The back door to your blog if you want. But make it accessible.
- Leave a comment on this post with a link so I can read your SOC Sunday post too!
