Journaling as stress relief since 2004

I came across a paper in a medical journal article* today that reminded me of why I started journaling in the first place. Yes, back in the olden times it was called journaling before it was called blogging.

But back to why I’m here today.

The journal article basically said that they did a clinical trial, where they confirmed the fact that keeping a journal, where participants were encouraged to share all of their feelings about the stress they felt raising children who have ASD, actually helped alleviate some of the stress they were feeling, and that having parents of ASD children keep a journal was an effective therapy for stress relief.

Well, I could have told them that! It’s good to know I’ve been doing science all these years  🙂
